All TV sets with webOS Hub as the operating system receive their updates exclusively via OTA in connection with a network (Internet access). To view the current software status and check whether an update is available, please proceed as follows:
Settings > All settings > Support > Software update
In addition to this, the TV set will automatically inform you with a message when a new update is available. Since webOS Hub is constantly being developed further, updates with new features or further improvements with regard to features or speed are also available here at regular intervals.
-
Check the back of the TV set and whether the Wi-Fi antennas have been installed correctly there. Our SL and SLA model lines always have two external Wi-Fi antennas (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz) for optimum reception. If these antennas have not been installed correctly or not at all, this can considerably limit the reception signal.
